Buildings in Swin Hope
Buildings in Swin Hope
Swin Hope is a tributary valley of the river East Allen. The valley bottom can be seen to have been divided historically into fields with the higher ground remaining as uncultivated moorland slopes.
There are many properties in the valley some of which will have been occupied continually whilst others have been renovated
Low Moss House below the camera position is clearly not occupied; perhaps it's been abandoned but it does at least appear to be intact and so saveable.
Pryfield Cottages are across the valley. The building to the right is assumed to be occupied; that to the left is at least semi-ruinous - there's been deterioration in the last eight years:Link
