In Westhorpe Dumble – 2
One of the most deeply cut of the local dumbles Link , the best part of 10 metres deep. This view shows natural evolution of ancient woodland, with a fallen tree opening up a clearing for further regrowth. The human intervention to clear timber is subsequent to the fall.
