Railway Station, Boston
Boston Station is on the Grantham to Grimsby/Skegness line, which has (in part) operated from 1848/1871. The line had a branch to Spilsby from 1868, which closed in 1939. All traffic between Firsby and Louth on the Grimsby stretch ceased in 1970, but continued to run between Grimsby and Louth, and the Associated British Maltsters, until 1980.

A group of volunteers are hoping to reinstall the track from Louth to Grimsby. Link. LinkExternal link

Class 156415 from Grantham has terminated and beyond, a Class 153 unit is held in the station sidings. The building and car park to the left belong to ASDA.

The camera was perched on the railings to take the shot.
