Site of the original Vale of Rheidol Railway terminus, Aberystwyth
Opened in 1902, the terminus was moved in 1925 by the Great Western Railway to a site adjacent to the main line station. The original terminus remained in use until 1968 for locomotive servicing and carriage sidings and the main VofR line continued to run through here until then. It then became a local authority car park and remains as such until the present day. On the right of the view is the old Arriva bus garage (formerly Crosville). Arriva departed from the Aberystwyth area in 2013 and the depot was then closed. It is currently (in 2020) the base of a construction company.
