SH7577 : Scree slope

taken 4 years ago, near to Capelulo, Conwy, Wales

Scree slope
Scree slope
An amusing irony regarding the slopes of the small valley running up to the east of the Penmaen-bach is that it has screes on both sides. Those on the eastern side comprise quarry waste tipped from the upper levels of the Conwy Stone Quarries, while those on the west are a natural, peri-glacial feature.
