NH2772 : Frosted peathags

taken 16 years ago, 4 km SSE of Lochdrum, Highland, Scotland

Frosted peathags
Frosted peathags
The flat western shoulder of Beinn Liath Mhor a'Ghiubhais Li is a mass of deep peathags which can lead to endless detours for hillwalkers. But when they are frozen, as in the photo, you can walk straight across them.
