Cerrig- y-myllt summit
A welcome breeze fans us as we rest at the summit. In the distance is the backdrop of Snowdon, and we muse on recent stories of pushing and shoving crowds trying to reach the top for a 'selfie'. Summits like this one at 464m don't attract the same attention, I am glad to say. What a day, what a view, and what a way to celebrate the autumn equinox. Interestingly, early editions of the Ordnance Survey map give this location as Cerig y Mellt, the lightning stones, which I much prefer.
