ST6899 : The Berkeley Arms

taken 4 years ago, near to Berkeley, Gloucestershire, England

The Berkeley Arms
The Berkeley Arms
The inn is owned by the Berkeley Estate and was an old staging post. The entrance is now a modern revolving door (from about 1919) but it can clearly be seen that the entrance was where the horse and wagon would go through to the stables out the back. Note the Cyclists' Touring Club Headquarters sign on the wall.
