The Herefordshire Beacon
The Herefordshire Beacon
Here is the Herefordshire Beacon, which has an elevation (summit) of 1,109 ft (338 m). The height of this makes this a mountain an Iron Age hill fort is located on the summit, and that is known as British Camp, established in the 2nd century BC. In the 12th century, a Norman castle was established on the summit with a moat constructed beneath. This is one of the most popular hills in the Malvern Hills range due to its quaint appearance from its several earthworks.
