Brookhouse Mills, Preston - engine house
This is the beam engine house window in the 1858 block of this cotton mill complex. This contained a single cylinder beam engine that was later pusher compounded. Beam engine houses are usually very recognisable by the tall arched windows that differ from the other windows in a mill.
