Slater Terrace, Burnley
In 2011 this property had been stone cleaned but was lying empty awaiting development. It is now all restored. This was built c1848-1850 for George Slater and consisted of 11 two-up, two-down houses over a warehouse. The end two were subsequently converted to an engine house and boiler house after 1861 and the others altered c1900 as a winding room for Sandygate Mill. This is Grade II Listed. A mill chimney is seen coming through the roof on the extreme right.
