The couple settled at The Old Kiln in this delightful Surrey village. In 1968 Mr and Mrs Jackson found a horse drawn plough in some woods at Lovedean, Hampshire. It became their mission to save as many
agricultural artefacts as they could. In 1973 it became the “Old Kiln Agricultural Museum”, steadily growing over the years. It is now one of the south’s premier rural collections, a must visit for anyone who loves the history of our countryside.
