NN8760 : Loch Tummel from the south shore

taken 3 years ago, 5 km SSW of Aldclune, Perth And Kinross, Scotland

Loch Tummel from the south shore
Loch Tummel from the south shore
Pre 1951, when the Clunie Dam was built, this would have been a scene overlooking a rushing river a good deal below the current level of the loch. Despite this scene being partly 'man made' it is most agreeable with the lochside birches and the natural looking shoreline.
