St Cuthbert Parish Church. Burton Fleming
St Cuthbert Parish Church. Burton Fleming
A Norman church which escaped a restoration in the c19. It exhibits the results of centuries of maintenance by churchwardens and parishioners, stone but patched with cobbles and a considerable amount of brickwork. A broad west tower probably c13. The church was reroofed in 1576. The churchyard was consecrated in 1828. (Pevsner)
