The Abergeldie telephone kiosk
The Abergeldie telephone kiosk
A notice in the phone box tells us that the original telephone kiosk was removed by BT in about 2010. See NO2895 : Telephone Kiosk at Abergeldie HRH The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay came up with the idea of trying to get a kiosk back in place. In November 2019 it was reinstated on the original site. However this isn’t the original kiosk, this one was kindly given to the community by Cromar Community Council from the Migvie site. The staff at Balmoral Estate renovated the kiosk bringing it back to its former glory and installed the wooden shelves for the local community to use it as a lending library.
