Stratford (Low Level) railway station, Greater London
Stratford (Low Level) railway station, Greater London
Opened in 1854 by the Eastern Counties Railway, later part of the Great Eastern Railway, on what became the line from Richmond to North Woolwich.
View north towards Hackney Wick and Richmond, also Stratford International. "Heavy Rail" at the low level platforms ceased in 2009 when the London Overground service from Richmond was diverted into the main station. From 2011 these platforms were used by Docklands Light Railway, with Jubilee Line underground services on the extreme left of the image.
