SP3474 : Jubilee oak, Baginton

taken 3 years ago, near to Baginton, Warwickshire, England

Jubilee oak, Baginton
Jubilee oak, Baginton
A stone at the base of the oak tree reads 'Jubilee Oak 1977'. Presumably the oak was planted to commemorate the silver jubilee (25 years) of Queen Elizabeth II's reign in 1977. Boughs of the much older SP3474 : Baginton oak can be seen on the right.
