View over the fields to Greenfield farm in the distance. On the far horizon is Waskerley, the track up the hillside below here is Nanny Meyer's Incline. This was the original route of the Stanhope and Tyne Railway of 1834. It was replaced by a different route in 1859 (now the Waskerley Way).
