The Miners' Track crossing the Llyn Llydaw causeway
The Miners' Track crossing the Llyn Llydaw causeway
The image was taken from the PyG track a length of which is visible on the left. Here the Miners' Track follows the lake shore before crossing it at its narrowest point by means of the causeway. The Miners' Track and causeway date from the second half of the 19thC when copper was mined along the line of the Beddgelert Fault Zone.
