Two streams descend down the headwall, that on the left, a tributary of Afon Gennog, has just exited Llyn Glas That on the right, Afon Las, which has its source in Llyn Bach. It flows the full length of Cwm Glas Mawr to join Afon Nant Peris near Ynys Ettws. Shortly before its confluence with Afon Nant Peris it is joined by Afon Gennog. In the background mist has descended on to Clogwyn y Person.
