Two walkers on Capstan Beach by Johnny Main's Harbour
Two walkers on Capstan Beach by Johnny Main's Harbour
This photo shows two walkers on Capstan Beach at the head of Johnny Main's Harbour. It is likely that the Ferryden fisherman, William Mearns, lost his boat, the Jenny, when it foundered, in 1951, on Scurdie Rock at the western edge of Johnny Main's Harbour. Mr Mearns named his boat the Jenny after his wife.
