Short Section of Stone Wall alongside Dippool Water
Not that easy to see in the picture but on the left bank of the burn there is a well- made stone wall rising up to the field. It caught my eye, and studying old OS maps I found out that the wall is in the exact spot that the old Wilsontown Branch Railway crossed Dippool Water, so no doubt related to this former bridge in some way.
