Gulls on Lady Isle 1997
The island is uninhabited, covered by nettles and occupied by nesting birds. The major species are gulls (Herring, Lesser black-backed and Greater black-backed) with Shag, Cormorant and Eider ducks. Common and Arctic Terns used to nest here. Viewed during Ayrshire bird surveys of 1996-7.
