Telephone call box, Bangor

BT "KX 100" telephone box on Ashley Gardens, Bangor. Still working and in good condition. There was a K6 box here until the late 1990s.

Telephone boxes, Northern Ireland

A series of photographs showing some of the public telephone boxes in Northern Ireland. With the widespread ownership of mobiles the use of the public phone had declined. I have a notion that they will become like railways – still some left but most closed.

Note added 16 February 2019 - some BT boxes will be replaced by InLink kiosks.
