This is the later steam mill that is now driven by an oil engine. This is a layshaft arrangement rather than the more traditional great spur wheel.

Worsbrough Mill

Worsbrough mill is a preserved watermill near Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
The mill is in two parts, a smaller older water driven building with three stones. The 1840s steam mill also contains two stones and was driven by a double acting beam engine. The beam was scrapped in 1922 and replaced with an oil engine (from a nearby windmill).
