The cab of 'Union of South Africa'
In the loco yard at Bridgnorth. No.9 was there for repairs and after further work at Crewe it returned to main line operations. It hauled the inauguration train on the Borders Railway in 2015 and was finally withdrawn from service in 2020. Its owner, John Cameron, has said that it will become a static exhibit in Fife, not to run again. We shall see...
