TQ5891 : Part of the walled garden at Warley Place

taken 3 years ago, near to Great Warley, Essex, England

Part of the walled garden at Warley Place
The walled garden is part of the house and gardens at Warley Place which has survived. Apart from a few fragments the house has disappeared; what was the garden developed by the last occupier, plant-collector Ellen Wilmott, is now a nature reserve run by Essex Wildlife, but the descendants of the daffodils planted by Miss Wilmott still bloom in their thousands.
