At the centre of the village. A small roundabout with a shady tree and seating opposite the village shop which does coffee and cake. A nice place.
The telephone sign is outside the old post office where there still was a phone, in a stone built phone box, when this was taken.
Saint Aldwyn was a 7th century abbot in Lincolnshire. Not much is known about him or about his connection with a Cotswold village.
