Telephone call boxes, Belfast
Twin BT call boxes on King Street, Belfast. The one on the right has been damaged for some time - I've recently noticed that vandalised boxes are taking a long time to repair currently.
Northern Ireland lockdowns

Images taken in Northern Ireland during the Coronavirus lockdowns in 2020 and 2021.

Telephone boxes, Northern Ireland

A series of photographs showing some of the public telephone boxes in Northern Ireland. With the widespread ownership of mobiles the use of the public phone had declined. I have a notion that they will become like railways – still some left but most closed.

Note added 16 February 2019 - some BT boxes will be replaced by InLink kiosks.
