A Curved Girder on the A9 Dunbeath Bridge, Caithness
One of the main steel girders supporting the A9 trunk road where it crosses Dunbeath Water, on the east coast of Scotland. The smooth line of the girder is broken by bolted splice joints and web stiffeners at each pier support.
