ST4258 : The remains of a railway truck

taken 3 years ago, near to Sandford, North Somerset, England

The remains of a railway truck
This might seem an incongruous item to find half way up Sandford Hill, but the quarry used to have a tramway that ran across the hillside in times past. This box car dates from the 1950s and once used to store explosives for the blasting. Today it looks like the dynamite exploded.
