The track taking the bridleway from Briar Rigg to Latrigg Car Park divides at Ewe How and both branches re-join here. The track sloping up to the left is the public right of way and also the route of The Cumbria Way, the path going straight ahead leads into the woods above Whinny Brow and is not a public footpath (next photograph NY2724 : The Cumbria Way, Ewe How).
