SH8657 : Marker stone

taken 3 years ago, near to Pennant, Conwy, Wales

Marker stone
Marker stone
A curious marker stone, recently set in place and bearing the legend Hiraethog, is placed adjacent to a much older stone which is now almost lost. I think there are other inscribed words, but I could not make them out. Many such boundary stones and cairns are apparently spaced out along the borders of the Pentrefoelas parish.
