Path towards Binny Craig from the South
Path towards Binny Craig from the South
This cross-country route to the hill Binny Craig is well signposted all the way from the town of Uphall to the South. Once the minor road past East Broadlaw is crossed you get fenced in for a while - this is probably a necessity due to the amount of walkers that would otherwise be passing through livestock, but it does feel rather hemmed in. It reminded me of some English paths, along which you often get a feeling that if you stray from the official route by just a few inches Old Farmer Giles will be training his shotgun on you!
The gates are lovely though.
