Road bridge to Lolworth over A14 & A1307
Road bridge to Lolworth over A14 & A1307
The A14 improvement project has caused the access to Lolworth village to be totally rebuilt. Previously the only means of access & egress was to the westbound carriageway of the A14. Traffic that required to use the eastbound carriageway had to travel to (or from) the major junctions at Bar Hill or Swavesey. Now access is over the bridge shown here to the A1307 local road running parallel to the A14 which allows easy access to west or eastbound lanes.
