Prototype Capricorn 5 marine turbine
Prototype Capricorn 5 marine turbine
A 7m wide twin turbine to produce 50 kW of clean energy, trialled in the Firth of Forth in 2014/5. Mention is also made of a larger Capricorn 125, 38m wide producing 1.25 MW, but I found nothing more about their current status. Photographed at Capricorn Renewable Devices Marine Ltd, Roslin
