Mobberley, The Parish Church of St Wilfrid
St Wilfrid's Church stands to the north of the village of Mobberley. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building (Historic England List Entry Number: 1139554 LinkExternal link ).

The church was built in the 14th/15th century with the tower added in 1533. The present church is believed to incorporate fragments of an earlier building or buildings. Remains of a Saxon church were found during excavations when the church was undergoing restoration in 1888.
