Above Portmark
The remains of Portmark farm, a WWI-era concrete building associated with the Loch Doon Gunnery tracked target range and Cat's Stone can be noted from left to right in this shot. The island upon which Loch Doon sat until relocation to the mainland in the 1930s is also apparent.
This photograph was taken during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic of 2020/21.
