taken 3 years ago, near to Hedon, East Riding of Yorkshire, England

The Old Hull to Withernsea Railway
The Old Hull to Withernsea Railway
The 120m high aerial photo is looking westwards from a position just to the north of the town of Hedon. The bushes define the path of the old railway closed to passengers in October 1964. The large field to the left is the former Hedon Aerodrome which was once used by the famous pilot Amy Johnson. The cooling tower is on the Saltend chemical plant up until recently owned by BP but now by Ineos. The footpath, on the right hand side, is from Hedon to Preston across farmland.
