Apparantly known as the Huntly Arms Inn until the 1850's. At some time between 1851 and 1861 censuses it became the Huntly Arms Hotel. See http://www.royal-deeside.org.uk/Abhistory/thomson.htm . Is it a coincidence that Aboyne railway station was opened in 1859?
