Whinnyfold Bay
Whinnyfold Bay
The shingle beach below Whinnyfold village, where a fleet of fishing boats was once based. The large rock is called The Godman with Little Craig a little farther out to sea. These tough ancient rocks are part of the Southern Highland group of metamorphic bedrock formed approximately 502 to 1000 million years ago in the Neoproterozoic and Cambrian periods.
