Mural, Donaghadee
Mural off Manor Street in Donaghadee (the car park behind Harbour and Co.), painted to celebrate the bicentenary of the harbour.

"The mural features:

- The crew of Sir Samuel Kelly, who famously battled extreme conditions to rescue passengers from the Princess Victoria when she sank off the coast of
Donaghadee in 1953.

- The ‘Moat’ — this castle-like structure was used as a gunpowder store when the harbour was being built.

- A tribute to the various passenger vessels that have run packed excursions to the Copeland Islands since the 1950s.

- A row boat hire attendant (Bobby Simpson).

- Tom Blower, the first man to swim the North Channel, leaving from Donaghadee Harbour. This was in 1947. Open water swimmers come to Donaghadee from all over the world to attempt this feat. The crossing is widely recognised as the most difficult swim of the Oceans Seven.

- In the distance you can also make out the Copeland Islands."
