Rath on a hill, Aghafad
Rath on a hill, Aghafad
Looking north-east from Kilnahusogue Road. On the Northern Ireland Sites and Monuments website it is described as follows:

This irregular, but approx. circular enclosure is on the summit of a steep drumlin with superb views all round, except N. It is 28.5m E-W x 26m N-S & is defined by a low, spread bank, with no ditch, surrounding a domed interior. The bank is best preserved at N, 5m wide & 1.2m high. Elsewhere, it is poorly preserved & it is unlikely that much of a bank ever existed at S, as here a scarp falls 2.3m to the exterior. There are several gaps, but none stand out as an original entrance.
