Tweed Bridge, Walkerburn
The four span bridge connects Walkerburn with the minor road south of the Tweed. It served an important purpose in allowing easy access to the railway station on the south bank. The bridge was opened in 1868 and major repair works were made in 1912 and 1991 (from 'Bridging the Tweed' by Jim Lyon (author publication 2019)).
