Eggborough Power Station
Eggborough Power Station
Eggborough power station is derelict & inactive. Here's a photograph when it was still producing electricity. Last Sunday - August 1st, 2021 - 4 of Eggborough's cooling towers were demolished. This photograph, showing all 8, was taken from the bus to Hull, on a glorious September day. My father worked at Eggborough power station until 1975.
