An Indian Bean Tree in Brompton Cemetery
An Indian Bean Tree in Brompton Cemetery
Seed-cases of the Indian bean tree (Catalpa bignonioides). The name might be considered misleading, as the tree is native to the south-eastern states of the USA.

I know of only one other example of this species - a street tree on the Twickenham side of Richmond Bridge (in Duck Walk, I think).
