North Berwick Flower Bed celebrates BROWNIES 100 years
North Berwick Flower Bed celebrates BROWNIES 100 years
BROWNIES were originally called ROSEBUDS and were first organized by Lord Baden-Powell in 1914. He had invented the BOY SCOUTS. In 1918 his wife, Lady Olave Baden-Powell took over the running of the GIRL GUIDES and the BROWNIES. This flower bed in the Lodge Grounds celebrated 100 years of BROWNIES in North Berwick.
