NN0755 : Gleann an Fhiodh Path

taken 17 years ago, 3 km from Ballachulish, Highland, Scotland

Gleann an Fhiodh Path
Gleann an Fhiodh Path
Path running from Glen Duror to Ballachulish. The path runs along the western bank of River Laroch, and is a relatively easy walk or slightly trickier cycle. Some sections would be boggy during wet periods, and there are several smallish fords.

The lower slopes of Sgorr a'Choise can be seen on the right of the picture.

Also accessible from Loch Creran via a steep climb over Mam Uchdaich.
