The railway bridge carried the London Extension of the Great Central Railway (from Leicester to Aylesbury) over the road between Bicester and Buckingham. The line opened in 1899 and closed in 1966. Most of the bridges have now been dismantled; this one is not in good condition, so how much longer will it last before the highway authority has to demolish it on safety grounds?
