SJ9594 : Changes on Market Street. The premises originally belonged to the "Philanthropic Mutual Life Assurance Collecting Society". Faded lettering of the name on the top of the façade was still visible in 2006

Next door was a single shop DP Flooring which was later split into two shops. One was YT Electronics and the other was being sold as an "investment property". YT Electronics has gone and is now Nakshi, an ethnic fashion shop. The other shop remains shuttered.
Above these is the former Crown Inn, now the Rose Beauty Salon
